As I have mentioned in the eariler post, I was working to fix some critical bugs and at the same time putting some more features into the xLanguage plugin, a Wordpress plugin which enables multilanguage blog.

I wasn’t aware of the great limitation of PHP 4. Improper OO support,  and even lacking of a referenced foreach element.  As a result, the older xLanguage couldn’t be deployed on PHP 4 system.
Personally I don’t have any PHP 4 usable web environment.  Getting a PHP4 CLI environment is my current limits as I am afraid I don’t have time to setup a standalone PHP 4 web server now.  Well, v1.0.5 at least pass the test script, and I just cross my fingers and hope it works in PHP4.

To facilitate 2 language 3 dialects on Wordpress, of course it will need some help from “some” plugin. But even after extensive Googlging, I failed to find one that can solve the problem of the overlapping properties of Chinese and Cantonese.The solution? Do it myself!
